Lydia is a 9th grader who stays to herself as an attempt to keep the bullies away from her. They perceive her as weak and an easy target, not realizing she is more special than they could ever imagine. 

When an attempt to hang up on her and dish out a gang style beat down, Lydia is cornered and forced to let a different type of goons handle her light work. 

Her goons aren't the only ones who show up upon sensing her necromancy powers. In an attempt to defend herself against the school bullies, Lydia awakened an ancient evil that is extremely intrigued with her power.
